QHSSYC Yearbook inducted into Walsworth Gallery of Excellence, TWO years in a row!!!! The Queens High School for the Sciences yearbook has been inducted into Walsworth Publishing Company’s Gallery of Excellence Congratulations to Ms. Peritz and all the students who put in long hours making the yearbook special! The
Gallery of Excellence is a showcase of the company’s top yearbooks.
Books selected for the gallery demonstrate the true mastery of a
yearbook’s purpose, to provide thorough coverage of the school year with
interesting stories that highlight all types of students using
well-written copy, stunning photography and trendy design. Only a small
percentage of yearbooks published by Walsworth are submitted to the
gallery each year. Many students and advisors will have the
opportunity to see the QHSSYC yearbook, as they are used as examples
by Walsworth salespeople nationwide. The yearbooks are also put on
display at regional, state and national conventions and workshops and
Walsworth uses excerpts from the winning books as illustrations in
resource materials. (Posted on Thursday, May 10, 2012)
